Funding Options

At South Nutfield Pre School, we are passionate about being able to offer places to all our families, no matter what your financial position. We are flexible in our approach and accept Government funding either via FEET, the Universal offer of 15 hours or the Working Parent Entitlement for eligible families.

To find out more information about your options regarding your entitlements, please click on the link below. Please note that you will need to apply for the Working Parent Entitlement the term before you wish to use it.

FEET

We are registered to provide FEET funding to 2 year olds who meet the criteria set out by Surrey Early Years and Childcare Services. Eligible children can claim up to 15 hours of funded care per week.

Universal 15 hours for 3 and 4 year olds:

From the term after your child turns 3 they will be eligible to receive 15 funded hours per week. All children receive this regardless of their parent's employment status or income.

Working Parent Entitlement for 2, 3 and 4 year olds:

Eligible 2, 3 and 4 year olds can receive up to 30 funded hours per week. Please see the eligibility criteria below for more information

Funded hours will be available where both parents (or the sole parent in a lone parent family):

  • are working and earn on average a weekly minimum amount equivalent to working 16 hours at either National Minimum Wage (NMW) or National Living Wage (NLW)

  • have an adjusted net income of less than £100,000 each per year

  • live in England (parents who are non-EEA nationals must have recourse to public funds to qualify)

How can you use your funding at South Nutfield Pre School?

For many families, all your hours will be funded as you can use funding between 9 am and 3 pm, Monday To Friday, term time only. We are open for 38 weeks of the year. We do not offer a stretched funding option currently.
